Une femme de la Rive-Sud de Montréal a été accusée de voies de fait graves après avoir prétendument aspergé d’eau bouillante un garçon de 10 ans. La police de Longueuil a arrêté vendredi matin Stéphanie Borel, 46 ans, qui aurait gravement blessé le garçon le 2 octobre. Elle a été arrêtée immédiatement après l’incident, qui s’est produit à l’extérieur d’une résidence de la municipalité, mais elle a été libérée avec une promesse de comparaître en cour.   Read More
Longueuil woman arrested again after Black child, 10, scalded with boiling water

A 46-year-old Longueuil woman was re-arrested Friday by local police in connection with an assault earlier this month on a 10-year-old boy that saw the victim deliberately scalded with boiling water. Stéphanie Borel was originally taken into custody Oct. 2, when police investigated a complaint she had thrown boiling water on the boy after he used her property as a shortcut. She was released by police after signing a promise to appear in court in January.  Read More
Woman accused of throwing boiling water on 10-year-old boy faces aggravated assault charge

A 46-year-old woman from Longueuil, Que., who allegedly threw boiling water at a 10-year-old boy as he walked by her home is facing a charge of aggravated assault. Stéphanie Borel was arrested following the attack on Oct. 2 that left the boy with serious burns to his head, face, torso and back.  Read More
